Re: Steaming quality

Having recenly bought a lovely 65" LG B7 OLED, I'm now living in a world of 4K HDR content from Netflix and Amazon. Needless to say, it really, really makes Now TV's utterly awful 720p feed look embarassingly bad. 720p on a 65" 4K screen isn't acceptable. It's borderline unwatchable.  Sadly though I doubt Sky will ever improve it, else they risk making their hugely overpriced old school satellite service look even less atractive.

Meanwhile back in the real world, Netflix are adding Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos audio support to further stretch their lead. No wonder they're no.1.

Re: Steaming quality

Sadly I came looking for a solution but i couldn’t agree more. Watching the walking dead is shockingly poor via the LG now tv app.

@Anonymous User tv when will you pump out 1080p?

Re: Steaming quality

Improving all the time, I think not.

18 months later and it's still a paltry 720p. Ridiculous given that other services offer 4k streaming. Glad I was given a free mo the to try this out as I would have been incredibly annoyed if I paid 9.99 for this quality.

I have no idea why anyone would pay for this. Not even going to bother finishing the movie I started as I would rather wait and watch it in much better quality on something else. !!

Re: Steaming quality

Agree. Dipped my toe in for the England game and couldn’t believe it was only 720p. But then again sky still think HD is an upgrade at £10 month.  Can’t wait for amazon to get the footie and that  really upsets the apple cart.  Then we will see how sky improve.  I do honestly believe sky are good and innovative but they need to lead on resolution too not just sports content
