Sports not loading on Appletv 3rd Gen (A1469)

I have a sports pass but for some reason that section of the app the won’t load.

The app shows movies, entertainment and kids sections without a problem but hangs on the loading wheel on the sports section.

I have auto update turned on my box and have logged out and in again with no luck.

i don't know if the information on this NOW linked article is accurate or relevant in your particular case because you mentioned that the Sports screen is not loading but this article below mentions second paragraph down that NOW no longer supports monthly Sports Membership on the ATV 3 boxes (where i am assuming a Day Sports Membership is still possible on these devices).

I reset the box via settings menu which fixed it for me.

Mine was going the same but worked once I unplugged it and turned it back on.

Managed to fix it by resetting via the settings menu. Strangely turning off and unplugging didn’t work for me...
