Sorry, NOW is currently unavailable

As per the title have an iPad and an Applet TV 4k. iPad is working just fine - Apple TV says unavailable

 

Any ideas?

Pi-Hole seems to be conflicting with the NOW App on Apple TV's, NOW branded devices and Roku Players.

 

Here's one thread example below about Pi-Hole effecting certain devices when using the NOW App.

Hi @Anonymous User 

 

Are you using an Adblocking software on your Router such has Pi- Hole for example ?

 

Or are you using a BT Hub Router, where you need to tick on the file sharing feature.

I am using Pi-hole but the iPad works fine and so does a PC just the Apple TV - all on the same network

Also see if there is anything on this linked thread below, that gets rid of the message on the ATV box NOW App.

Hi @schnapps I have put the list into the whitelist - and all works - will reduce the white list one by one to see which the actual one is - seems annoying.  - thanks for the help

I am trying to watch NowTV on Apple TV on a smart tv. I am just getting this message. Can anyone help. Ideally very soon.

Tried deleting and reinstalling the app?

 

Unplug your device and router for a few minutes.

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help
