Someone is using my account on a smart TV

My account is being used by someone in their LG smart TV, how do I stop it?! I have changed my parental pin and my password, removing all devices from the permissions.

BUT am still logged in on my own smart TV, ie it didn’t kick me out of the app and ask for new password and I assume it hasn’t kicked the other person either as I can’t watch anything.

I have closed my app to see if it would ask me for password when I went back in, but it just opened as normal. Again assume it will do the same with the other person…

What’s the point of force log out? What do I do now?…

Hi @Anonymous User

If following the forced logout instructions for all devices doesn't work by reading this link help page.

Then jump over to live chat and ask them to do the force logout for all devices showing on your account.

Hi @Anonymous User

Glad you got it sorted 👍.

Out of curiosity was it sorted out by live chat or by yourself by following the instructions from the help guide that i posted ?

The only reason i am asking is there have been reports recently that following the instructions on the help guide doesn't currently work (or takes a while to logout all the devices on the list) and live chat is the only other alternative.

@schnapps Tbh I don’t know if live chat sorted or not because as I was chatting to them the person who was using my account acknowledged me and stopped watching.

But the instructions didn’t resolve it, I had tried them before posting on here. It resolved it for mobile apps but not smart TVs, those were still logged in.

Live chat did see the devices and removed the one I asked, but like I said above the person was leaving the app at the same time…

I did say on my feedback that the instructions were useless and had to resort to live chat. And also mentioned how bad the app is on smart TVs, because let’s face it it’s very bad compared to the IOS and Android apps, where is the Watch List, for example?!
