Pin Request

So as of yesterday (9/4/19) we now have to insert a pin to watch films and on-demand content that is rated 12 and above, similar to cable and sky boxes which has annoyed a few people.

With the pin protection now in effect for Now TV, is this because you have to add this function or does this mean Sky are going to take advantage of Ofcom's new watershed ruling that entertainment channels can show programming out of watershed as long as its pin protected?

You set your own choice of PIN under My Account/Settings & PINs/Parental PIN.

Its not a bad idea while you are in there to set a (different) Payment PIN as well.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
