Now tv not working

Now tv not working.

sky movies and entertainment won’t load anything live or on demand.

netflix and all other streaming devices working fine, now tv account is active.

have tried updating services but still ok luck??

Hi @Anonymous User 

 

Have you tried rebooting both your router and nowtv playback device by disconnecting the power for about a minute.

 

Then start up the router first, give it say 5 minutes to settle down, then power back on your nowtv device.

 

Worth a go if you haven't tried it yet.

I turned it all off last night and turned all back on at the same time last night.

didnt help.

 

i will try again as you suggested and see if that helps.

 

just strange how everything else is working perfectly, and when I checked my now tv service on line , no issues.

 

will try your suggestion now, and let you know how it goes, thank you 😊

have rebooted both wifi and roku box but still not working

 

just getting a message to try later

 

the same issue on my nov tv stick which is upstairs

If still no joy, then it sounds like there is some sort of conflict between the router and the NowTV App on the Roku & NowTV stick, maybe try switching off the power to your Router for about 30 minutes to allow the router to automatically acquire a new IP address.

  • It’s not my WiFi, and the roku and now tv stick are playing Netflix and everything else ok.
  • checked payments, and not due till next week, so not a billing issue

Hi @Anonymous User 

 

If it was me i would be tempted to switch off the power to your Router for 30 minutes even though Netflix is working on the Roku and NowTV sticks, where the NowTV App tends to block rouge IP addresses more than other Apps on their devices.

 

 

Perhaps switch your router off overnight when you are sleep and see if the NowTV App works tomorrow morning.
