Now tv app not playing

I've got the youview box, and when going to play a movie via the now tv app it won't work. It will not load any movie I try to play and says there is an error. I have reset my router, the box and completely unplugged everything. It's still not playing anything. Any idea why?

While not recording on your YouView box nor about to, touch the On/Standby button and keep your finger there until the box soft reboots.

 

Then try the NowTV app again,

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
