'Now' bouncing around black screen periodically

For some unknown reason randomly when watching TV/Movie the screen will go black & the 'Now' logo bounces around, sound is still there just no picture - anyone able ro help as to why this happens & what to do about stopping it? Many Thanks

Have you deleted and reinstalled the app?

Hi & thanks - Got a NOW TV Stick (HD) just bought at Xmas gone & have re-set TV, stick & WiFi all to no avail - its driving us nuts!

Sounds like you done the standard troubleshooting listed in the link. Have you checked for updates?

Worst case you could try a factory reset to the stick.

Thank you so very much, disabling the screen saver has worked! Dont know how it was even switched on though!! Thank you, thank you, thank you 😀

I was almost about to reset when screensaver tip came in - so saved any grief! Many thanks for your input & help too 😀

Hi @Anonymous User 

A few people have reported this using the NOW branded devices in the last week or so.

Somebody over on Twitter said a quick disable of the screen saver also worked rather than using one of the different time interval options or switching the screen saver completely off.

I haven't seen this yet  happen on my NOW Stick, but most people who have reported this have just left the screen saver switched off which seemed to work for them.

Must be a bug in the recent NOW software using the NOW branded devices.

Anyway glad it worked.
