Now TV app on BT

When I watch Sky Sports on Now TV the sound constantly cuts out.

 

I'm a BT TV customer but I subscribe to Sky Sports direct through Now TV, so that means I'm accessing the channels through the app rather than the BT TV guide. 

 

Does anyone know if I can fix this?

Is there any update on this problem? I get occasional buffering for a second or two but the main problem is the sound cut outs which can last for several seconds. 

My Youview box is connected by direct Ethernet to 300 mb/s broadband on Smarthub 2.
