No sound

Just started now tv, using app on new 4K samsung UE50NU7020, logged in fine but try to watch a film and get picture but no sound! Reset internet, turned tv on / off, still no joy.....HELP! Kids want Xmas films

I don't own a Samsung smart TV and can only suggest the basic stuff to try.

When you turned the TV off was that in standby mode or did you disconnect the electrical power to the TV for about 30 secs ?

Also try another reboot on your router the same time.

If that doesn't work, try logging out of the NowTV App and removing the App off your television, then go to your TV's App store and re install App and log back in again.

Hopefully a Samsung Smart TV owner who has encountered this problem in the past will offer you some further advice on how to resolve the lack of sound from the NowTV App.

Turned all off again and worked this time

I have a Samsung Smart TV and I keep loosing the sound only on the NowTV app. Sometimes the advert before has sound but not the series or film I'm just starting to watch?? Today I looked up this community help page and turned my modem and TV off at the wall. I now have sound again. Will try this from now on.

I had no sound on my LG - a complete reset to initial settings cured it
