No 5.1 surround with Now TV Boost on my LG TV

Hello there, new to NOW app

I am using NOW app on my LG UK6500 with LG SN8YG sound bar

But I don't get any 5.1 signal to my soundbar. I already change setting to Surround Sound on NOW Boost setting and force DTV Audio Setting to Dolby Digital. Still getting on PCM on my soundbar. (Usually it will say Dolby Audio when it gets Dolby Digital Signal)

Please help.

@Anonymous User I'm not at home at the moment so trying to do from memory.

On your TV's audio settings you'll need to select HDMI arc and then change pcm to auto.

5.1 settings for NOW is via the app itself.

To select surround sound:

• Step 1: In the NOW app, go to My Account and Settings and ensure that Surround sound is selected.
• Step 2: On your LG TV, go to All settings, then Sound and Additional settings and ensure DTV Audio is set to Dolby Digital Plus or Dolby Digital.
