NOW App missing from Samsung projector, community posts suggests this was fixed early 2022?

No NOW TV available to download on a Samsung projector,

SAMSUNG The Premiere SP-LSP7TFAXXU Smart 4K

recently purchased, post 2015, latest firmware installed so why is NOW missing from the app content?

previous community posts suggests this was fixed early this year.. but it’s not an update error, it’s not pre installed and it’s missing when searched for?

(Touch/click the three vertical dots top right on the posting, select and hold Permalink until another submenu opens, select Copy from the submenu, and post the link here).

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.

Is the software for the TV fully updated I assume?

What happens if you do a factory reset to the TV?

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

It’s one of these:-

It’s a bit special.

But it has HDMI inputs, so Now can be added with a £20 Firestick.

OTOH, @Helen_Perkins is probably wondering why a Samsung device that probably looks exactly like a conventional Samsung TV to the apps it does possess, doesn’t include the Now app that contemporary Samsung TVs do.

And she may well think that she spent quite enough getting the projector in the first place.

with the greatest of respect... how many devices should NOW be providing apps for and, more crucially, keeping them updated.

Arguably... well, objectively speaking, NOW don't exactly do a great job developing for the devices they currently purport to provide an app for anyway...

your best bet is an external device such as a fire stick.
