LG Web OS NOW TV fails to lauch

Since I updated the now tv app on my LG smart tv it fails to launch most of the time and simply says "that didn't go to plan. Now tv isn't loading please try again in a bit" even if you close the 're open the app it says the same. The only way to make the app work is to power cycle the tv by unplugging it turning it off with the remote doesn't work. Is anyone else having this issue?

Try this @Anonymous User 

  • Press the Home / Smart button on your remote control
  • Go to Settings and scroll down to Support
  • Select Initialisation of Premium and press OK when prompted.


If your settings don’t match the ones above, try these steps instead:

  • Press the Home / Smart button on your remote control
  • Go to Premium and choose Option (or press GREEN if using a standard remote control)
  • Select Initialisation of Premium and press OK when prompted
