Integration with the tv app

I am just wondering if the Now app when you playback a film and don't finish it should be adding it to the watch now tab on the atv app so that I can easily pick it up again on a different Apple TV or even iOS device.

Also if on my Apple TV I go to Settings > Apps > TV under connect to tv should I see the now app like I do with iplayer, Disney plus etc

Have managed to solve my own question. And that is yes it does add to watch now and yes it should appear in settings.

After 6 months of using the app it asked if I wanted to connect to the tv app shortly after I posted my question
