I can't log in on my LG tv but can through PlayStation and ipad

My LG tv won't let me log into Now Tv it keeps saying does not recognise this username and password, but we are able to log in on another to through the playstation

I spoke to the help centre online and it turns out one of the characters in my password was upper case and I was entering as lower case, they were very helpful

Hi @Anonymous User,

 

Do you have any special characters in your current username and/or password, such as an % or + or $ etc?

 

It would appear that recent NOW TV 'app' updates have either broken or withdrawn support for some special characters on some playback devices...
