Chromecast Sky Sports Stream Delay

I am having a massive delay of about 2.5 minutes in receiving the Sky Sports stream on Chromecast compared to normal live TV. Are people aware of issues relating to Chromecast? Could someone please shed some light on this?

Stream Delay on other apps (e.g. NOW TV on PC or Android phone) is about 45-55 secs which is typical.

I’ve got exactly the same problem, as I mentioned in this post several months ago.   Can’t see it ever changing tbh. We seem to be paying a premium for a sub standard service I’m afraid.
