Hi all, I just bought the new chrome cast x1 with google tv, but it appears I cannot install now tv directly on the device. Is this a bug?

No bug, unfortunately Google TV doesn't support the native NowTV App.
Where your only option at the moment is to Chromecast from a mobile device to your Google TV dongle.
