Audio dropouts live Sports, multiple devices

Hi,

Is anyone else experiencing intermittent audio dropouts on Sky Sports live events, particularly the coverage of the IPL?

This is happening on multiple devices (two Rokus and TalkTalk TV+ box)

Might be a bit of a long shot, have you tried to unplug your router and devices for a few minutes?

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I turned off all the devices overnight and the same thing has been happening, it does seem to be particularly frequent during the IPL cricket coverage.

You could try perform a reset to the router. 

For live sport on NOW it requires more bandwidth than normal live TV. Sometimes unplugging the router can refresh the speed.

Thanks for the reply. I've refreshed my router. I've currently got a 65mbps connection. The issue is still present.

Ok cool, was just getting you to perform the basic “troubleshooting” so you can say to NOW staff that you’ve done it all.

 

Head onto live chat and see what staff at NOW can do for you. 

Just make sure to click “chat online”.
