Not sure what is going on with NowTV/SKY (other then the obvious take over). I have done many trials and the NowTV forum used to be one of the best for information and responses. The person who used to deal with this was brilliant but retired/moved on and other people took over, it first started pretty well with information about trials etc but recently it has completely gone to the dogs.
Before Christmas I was emailed and told I was on a couple of trials and was just waiting for the release (after filling in a couple of requests for information) only to be told they had suspended the trials for the moment. Then I hear they have restarted one of them but no information passed to myself, I emailed the trial people (who in the past had been pretty good at responding) and got absolutely nothing back (as some others on here have said). I find the lack of decency to even respond is quite appalling.
I appreciate acceptance onto trials is not guaranteed but when you are originally told you are on it and then to not even respond to an email request is very very poor customer service and it is quite obvious from the lack of moderator response on here that it appears the Comcast philosophy of customer care has taken grip very quickly.
I think we can all read into it what Now Tv think of past customers who have tested the platform. For a mod not to even comment on this thread is very poor customer service.
Still no reply to emails to the trials team.
Over a month into testing of the app and still nowt.
What a shame that Now Tv has decided to take this non customer friendly approach.
I'm very sorry for the lack of information that you've received for this trial.
There are times when trials are hosted within the community, which we've done in the past and have previously set up trial boards for them. However, there are some trials that are managed offline, and are therefore not within our control as community managers.
The last update I received about a trial was that it's on the way, however I have no time frame for when this trial would actually start.
Again, I apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.

Do you have any way of contacting the Trial team to put forward our dismay at the way they have acted. I had an e-mail in August from Andy (NOW TV Trials Team) saying 'We're super excited to have you on board', only to find out others have now been brought onto the trial over a month ago and I have been given nothing further. I even responded to the email to ask for an explanation and no-one even had the courtesy to even reply to it.
Thanks for the reply @Karl-F. Agree with @Anonymous User and would like some clarification. I supplied all the details which were asked for. Which included accounts for Apple ID etc.
Failing that, could you confirm if we will ever see the Apple Tv updated app anytime soon.
I can try my best to find out whats going on with the trial and see if i can get some sort of info.

I have to say it's a crazy service. I received my beta invite and download a week ago (after a lot of hassle), went home downloaded it and logged in. Problem is that I cannot watch ANYTHING, even though I'm subscribed. I went go into any more detail as I accepted an NDA. I have passed feedback repeatedly through two separate channels and have not been replied to, nothing. So I cannot test this app even though I have it! There soesnt seem to be a private beta community forum, which surely would be a good idea!!

Just to disappoint you further that they will still keep it in 720p till next year which makes me further sad for them. They have nothing new for customers. I completly moved to apple Tv deactived nowtv and sky q.
for Movies & TV shows>Netflix Amazon, New release UHD movies> Itunes with cheap digital codes from internet
Sports > Kayo sports app 1080p 50 fps, Bt Sports app 1080p 50 fps
Even I save lot of money on top of it instead having sky or 720p stero sound now tv. they cant steal us for ###### 720p. No means no. waited like fools but now I am moved on.
