So here is my setup;
Apple TV 4K
Apple HomePod's in stereo pair
The Apple TV sends the audio to the HomePods
The TV (Panasonic) is connected via HDMI 2 (which supports ARC) so the TV audio will also work via Home Cinema mode.
The problems I have is that every time the Now TV App moves from Live Stream to say adverts the audio turns off and you need to stop the stream and restart it. Watching the F1 today was a clear example and it is definitely only a live stream issue as going from adverts to a pre-recorded section is fine, Any ideas anyone?
