Just checked display settings now I've changed to hdmi cable and had a new option of 720p changed it to that and it's fine now. Thanks for help.
Only got one hdmi port on TV so looks like I will have to keep swaping for my other devices. What a mither. Thanks again
Hi @Anonymous User
You won't need to keep changing things around. If you get one of these:
It will allow up to 3 HDMI appliances to be on one port on the TV. You would need to find an extra HDMI cable though
Hope that helps

This seems to be affecting more n more Roku users... This suggests to me that it's not the compatability to our TVs... I have now cancelled my subscriptions due to this issue not being fixed! It's weird because the whole layout of the selection films is on the whole screen and the buffering sign is in the middle of the screen whilst the movie is loading yet when the movie starts it only plays in the top right hand corner. I would like my £9.99 refunded for this month but I won't hold my breath
What's your Roku box's 'model number' and 'Software Version'?
Hi all - this started happening to me 3 days ago. I can access Netflix, Amazon Prime and BBC I Player with no problem but I can't watch Now TV through it at all. Surely it must be a Now TV issue as I too have had Now through my Roku box for well over a year now and this is the first time it has ever happened.
Has anyone actually managed to fix the issue?
Thanks

i have the same prob not a happy bunny
Hi @Anonymous User @Anonymous User @Anonymous User @Anonymous User @RhiT @Anonymous User and @Anonymous User,
I've raised this to our technical team to look into, as there were three separate topics about this issue (I've merged them all together now).
Can you all confirm for me how you're connecting to your TVs? This post by @Anonymous User seems to suggest they were using the AV cable when it stopped working, but switching to HDMI made it work. If you could let me know if you're using the AV cable too, that'd be great.
Thanks,
Tom
@Anonymous User thanks for letting me know. I don't expect people to use HDMI instead - we should be able to fix this as it wasn't happening before.
If everyone else can let me know if they're using AV cables as well, that'd be great.
Cheers,
Tom
I am using an HDMI cable...
Im using hdmi lead and also av lead but still only got quarter of the screen .. shud i take the av lead out..?????
@Anonymous User you should just be able to change the display setting within settings on the box main menu. Change it to 720P or 1080P.
Thanks,
Tom
ok will try let u no...
Help!!
I'm not a tecchy person like a lot of you on here and all this information isn't helping me at all! The same problem happened with my Roku box on the 24th on Now TV only (all other channels fine, just like everyone else is saying)
I have gone into Roku Settings and I don't have all these different options for viewing that people are talking about. I have been scouring this site for ages trying to find a way to access the 'Live chat' in the hopes that someone could actually talk me through it but I can't find that either.
So, I would be really really grateful if anyone could please just tell me is Now TV going to fix this problem or if not can I at least get someone to please contact me and explain what's going on in real time, rather than having to go on this forum again - which I really only found my way on to by dumb luck (as I said I am not at all technical, I just want to watch telly!!!)
Please help because this is making me sad with life.
@Anonymous User
See if the following help guide helps you change the display type on your Roku to either 720p or 1080p

Hi @Anonymous User
Thanks for your post and sorry about the delayed reply.
If you have HDMI connection, please try these steps here provided by @Anonymous User.
If you're using AV, unfortunately you need to wait until our Roku team gets this resolved or use any other supported device.
I'm very sorry for the inconvenience caused.

I wonder if anyone can tell us how long this is likely to go on for please? If it's going to me weeks or months then it'd be nice to know so I can suspend my membership for the movies package (I don't mind watching tiny tv shows but it kind of kills films)
Many thanks,
99 🙂

Does your television have an HDMI port?
