iv just got a nowt box it's all set up wen I want to watch a movie it won't let me writing comes up about an error wats wrong with it

I keep getting error 4008 when trying to purchase 14day free trial on movies i have money in my account aslo tried to update my card details witch it won't let me do.

Error 4008 usually comes up when NOW TV are having temp problems with payments.  Hopefuly this will soon be resolvedSmiley Happy

It keeps telling me payment system not working when I try to pay by card or to pay for the movies by card or pass I don't know what's wrong with it

I keep getting this error code (4008) every time I try and buy a pass. I then follow the instructions to check my payment details. I do that and they are up to date I then hit save details but it doesn't....there is red text saying there is a problem validating my card details and I've checked them over and over.

If you are getting a payment un authorized message then this guide might help.

Also check that your card details are up to date and match your account details on the Nowtv database (see guide below).

The NowTV system does not accept cards issued outside the UK, Pre Paid type cards or American Express or Maestro cards.

 

Also double check with your card provider or Bank that they are not blocking the payment transaction their end.
