Each time I try to add a new membership - such as sports - there is a message that NowTV is experiencing technical difficulties and I should come back later. This has been going on for days. Any insights?

VPN or a Router IP address not assigned to the UK could be another reason.
Or something blocking the purchase on your Internet device used such has a PC fire wall for example.
If you have mobile data on your smart phone have you tried purchasing a Membership via this method with the smartphone rather than going through your home network Internet on your PC or laptop.
