nowtv player wont work after installing update

got prompted to update the player and now the player wont open

tried reinstalling it a couple of times wont work
tries to open, new window opens, loads for a bit then closes

can still watch on app for computer (had to add it as a new device though?)
so nothing wrong with internet or account

anyone else had this?

know what to do?

Some have found enabling the aero theme helped if you are using windows.

Same problem for me after I'd paid my 1 day subscriptioin fee for Sport. I deinstalled all Nowtv apps & links , restarted windows, started Microsoft Edge. Used 'wathc.nowtv.com/sports.  Logged in. Checked my money was still there OK. Went to 'Help'. Downloaded app from here. Clicked downloaded exe to 'run'. Completed installation. Went to screen I got just after 'Help'.   Clicked 'Ive already installed this' , then clicked on my selected cricket game & it worked ok.  I'm running Windows 10 version 1803.
