Hi @4268@Anonymous User

I have passed the invalid help page onto the team to look into 🙂

With regards to the error message itself @Anonymous User, Is it a PC or Laptop ? Do you have any external display equipment attached ? If so how is this done ?

Thanks

Andy

Hi Andy,

Perfect 🙂

I have a monitor connected Via HDMI and DVI-I I have tried using both individually however no luck.

I did speak to live chat and they did say this was escalated to the technical team, however it's been over a day now with no reply.

Hi @Anonymous User

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

I have some steps for you to try regarding the error on the app.

  1. Go to the Charms Menu by pressing the Windows Key + C.
  2. Select Search.
  3. Select Everywhere from the drop-down menu.
    • If you do not have a drop-menu continue to step 4.
  4. Search for "WUAPP."
  5. Select the WUAPP App.
  6. Select Check for Updates.
  7. Select Install Important Updates.

Then try the NOW TV App again and see if it works ?

If this doesn't work then please can you see if any updates to your graphics card from the manufacturers website ?

If your Graphics card is an AMD card could you disable Hyper V :

  1. Select Search from the Charms bar.
  2. Highlight Apps and type cmd.
  3. Right click on Command Prompt.
  4. Select Run as Administrator.
  5. Click Yes if prompted by User Account Control.
  6. Type bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off into the command prompt.
    • If the command is input successfully, you should see a message stating The operation completed successfully.
  7. Restart your computer

Then try NOW TV App again.

If you need to switch it back on for any reason then the command prompt is

bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype auto

Cheers

Andy

I have a similar problem. I cannot watch NowTV on Mozilla or NowTV app.

I have new Dell laptop with Windows 8.1 - all the updadtes made.

I can watch BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub and Live TV (other Windows app).

I have signed for Now TV in the morning, hoping to watch the Manchester derby.

Now, the match is long over, I've spent a lot of time trying diffrent thing to resolve my problem and I still can watch nothing at all.

T6030 - There's a problem with one of your onnected audio or visual outputs (Mozzila)

Something's not right. A problem is preventing playback. Please try again or visit nowtv.com/help (c0262500) - NowTv app

Hi @Anonymous User,

Thanks for posting.

Could you tell us if you have anything connected to the laptop? Such as a TV or amp, anything like that?

Also let us know if you have anything installed for screen recording.

Thanks

Simon

Hi,

Thank you for repalyning my post.

No, I haven't anything connected to my laptop. No TV or amp, anything like that.

I haven't anything installed for screen recording.

I have Windows 8.1 installed since several days. (because of NowTV and BBC iPlayer)

I  use Linux Mint.

Hi @Anonymous User

Can you let us know if Linux Mint is your main operating system and if you then use Windows 8.1 as a Virtual Desktop ?

Thanks

Andy

Hi Andy,

It's a standard Windows 8.1 instalation.

I have first installed Windows, than Linux Mint.

When I turn on my laptop I choose which system I would like to use.

Roman

Hi @Anonymous User

I think that may be the cause of the errors as Silverlight and our DRM's don't really agree with that setup 😞

@Anonymous User you're more of a PC buff than me, do you think this could be the case ?

Thanks

Andy
