I have reinstalled and rebooted. Same thing happens - app loads, spinner for a few seconds and then app closes. Windows application logs has the following error every time. Worked fine yesterday:
Faulting application name: NOW TV Player.exe, version: 8.7.0.0, time stamp: 0x5ba8f866
Faulting module name: ucrtbase.dll, version: 10.0.19041.789, time stamp: 0x82dc99a2
Exception code: 0xc0000409
Fault offset: 0x0009eddb
Faulting process ID: 0xf50
Faulting application start time: 0x01d7c9c0159f1db0
Faulting application path: C:\Users\xxxxxxxxxx\AppData\Roaming\NOW TV\NOW TV Player\NOW TV Player.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Windows\System32\ucrtbase.dll
ucrtbase.dll is a MS runtime file.
I can only suggest you run sfc /scannow (note the space between sfc and /) from the admin command prompt and hope this corrects a possible corrupt file.
Thanks - all scanned ok but still no dice 😞

Are you running Bitdefender antivirus, or something like it? Bitdefender doesn’t like that .dll, or the way that Now uses it, and you need to make an exception for it in the AV so it doesn’t keep faulting during real-time scanning.
