As far as I'm aware the NOW TV player for Windows has been limited to 720p for a few years or maybe ever since inception. What is the reason for this exactly? Does anyone know whether there's any plan for them to eventually support Boost capability of 1080p@50 frames?
It's really confusing why this isn't supported, and the player itself having to integrate with the website is an annoying hoop. It just seems like they don't care about supporting this version of the player.
Doesn't even seem like it really gets updated either with the launch graphic being from a show that ended 3 years ago.
