If you have a nowtv entertainment, kids, cinema or Hayu pass and have a nowtv box, nowtv stick or Roku player then you can watch Sky Sports News on these devices without subscribing to a nowtv sports pass (apparently it's a bonus offer to nowtv owners who buy these nowtv devices).
Unfortunately, i believe the Apple TV is not covered under this bonus offer and the only way to watch Sky Sports News on a ATV is to buy a sports pass
