The team have been actively working towards today's release, which should help improve the performance of the player.
This release also prepares the player for some upcoming features, as well as a fix to resolve the p20001 issue so many of you have faced. We just need a bit more time on that one, but we'll let you know as soon as it's ready.
Next time you launch the app, it will present you with a button to download & install the latest version, or you can download the player from the Now TV website.
To celebrate this release, here's our Now TV Player performing a mexican wave! Courtesy of our senior developer Ben L. who broke our unit tests earlier, which resulted in this wonderful little accident

EDIT: It was just a coincidence, started working randomly and nothing to do with devices or device limits 😞
(The Android app lists device added date in Manage Devices whereas the web lists last used date)

Thanks for your update.
The team were able to push the fix live yesterday which affected certain mac devices, so hopefully this fixes this issue for most people. Do let us know if you're still seeing this issue.

Since I've installed the new Now TV player i just get the black screen with spinning coloured circles. It used to work with Silverlight but is not with the new player. I have un-installed and re-installed but to no avail. This needs to be fixed as it seems that many other users are having the same problem.

I have the black screen problem. It is not fixed. Mac OS10.12.3. Siverlight worked great for years. the NowTV Player just does not work with the latest MacOS on any of the following browsers- Safari, Firefox or Chrome. Very disappointing. I can't get back to Silverlight either as someone commented. Can I get my money back?
