(T6030) - There's a problem with one of your connected audio or visual outputs.

Getting this error when trying to watch NowTV via browsers:

(T6030) - There's a problem with one of your connected audio or visual outputs.

I've Reinstalled Silverlight.

Reinstalled display Drivers.

Tried different display ports on my GPUs.

Tried IE & Firefox (since Chrome & Edge don't support silverlight).

Windows 10 PC, Dual monitors HDCP compliant.

The Windows 10 NowTV app does play content but only in fullscreen which is not acceptable to me, I want to have it on a portion of my screen so I can continue to utilise both screens for productivity (which I've done with every paid streaming service I subscribe to including NowTV).

If there's no solution, I suspect there isn't reading other threads, I'll sadly have to end my subscription.

Woke up this morning and it was working without any intervention from me.

@Anonymous User

- My provider is Virgin Media.

- I am not using VPN's.

- HP 15 Notebook PC
- Tried Firefox, IE (error T6030), Edge, Chrome (not compatible with Now Tv).

- Tried Win 10 app, not working (not getting error T6030, only "video can't be played").

Thanks,

Tom

Hi @Anonymous User,

Thanks for coming back to us.

Can you tell us a little about your set up? do you connect your PC to a TV or sound system secondary monitor anything like that?

Thanks

Hi Simon,

Nothing like that. I watch on my laptop and plug my earphones in. I have tried watching without earphones, the problem persists.

Thank you,

Tom

Hi @Anonymous User,

Thanks for coming back to me with that.

Do you have Avast at all?

If so could you try these steps:

  1. Open Avast
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Under General select Exclusions
  4. Select the URL Tab
  5. Enter *.nowtv.com/* (including the stars)
  6. Hit OK

Thanks

Hi @Simon-J,

I'm not using Avast. As I mentioned in a previous post, I'm using Avira free version, and disabling it did not work.

Thanks,

Tom

I can't get it to work at all.  Also, it refuses to accept my password every time, so I have to change it.  Now tv isn't looking good!

Hi @Anonymous User

Sorry to hear this, Can you let us know what platform you are using to view NOW TV ?

What operating system, browser, what program your trying to view ?

The more information the better 🙂

i am unable to watch anything on NowTV on my laptop as this error constantly appears. This has only been a recent problem. No issues a few months ago. Can anybody help?

Hi @Anonymous User

This error usually happens when you're watching via a browser.  Much better to download the NOW TV app from Windows Store.

Hope this helps
