I've been using the NOW TV app for a while now since I moved into Uni Accommodation and my primary source of TV viewing came from my laptop. The problem with the app being that it is impossible to get rid of the pause button for longer than about 5 seconds when in full screen. You can do it out of full screen by putting the mouse on the taskbar but in full screen, it is impossible to remove it for a long period of time.
This really interrupts viewing and can be really annoying when trying to get into a TV show. From what I have seen, this has been an issue for some time but has not been fixed. Please look into it.

Do you have Windows Task Manager, Process Explorer or Process Hacker in the background when watching on Now TV player app? I had Process Explorer and found (so far) that exiting this while watching on the app stops the pause button reappearing.

Keeps acting like I moved my mouse. In standard view or full screen.

Turning Norton into silent mode and windows 10 onto do not disturb mode sorted the issue for me.
