Poor streaming quality

I am getting very poor streaming quality on my mac book pro.  Sometimes the quality is good often is very poor, blurred picture etc.

To get the best performance I would recommend watching on a Roku, Now TV app on a LG or Samsung SmartTV. 

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

Thanks this has not solved the problem.  The stream is sometimes high quality and sometimes unwatchable.  I've tried deleting the app and reinstalling it but it has not worked.  Any other settings I can change?
