I have just paid for a subscription but the player won't work on either of my computers. After installing I got an error message:
A JavaScript occured in the main process
Uncaught exception
Error: ENOENT
There is loads of text which I can't add here now as I have closed the error window, but I have a screen capture
The player is just the 4 circles going round and round but nothing else happens.
I have installed on a Windows 10 laptop and a Windows 8 laptop.

Further to previous message - I have just installed on my tablet and it doesn't work there either! Error: playback_protocol_error
Not impressed at all!!

You can hit Ctrl+C to copy the entire contents of the error to the clipboard. Ctrl+V will paste it in, suggest you add it in as a reply. That will have the full stack trace of the error which is more useful for the developers (if they read this).
Are you running any firewall/antivirus software common to all devices, or running them with a restricted access user? The desktop player is a web app in a wrapper. Sounds like the main code is not being able to load properly for some reason.

I get the same thing, running on Windows 10. Managed to capture one of the pair of error messages (they always come as a two):

Uncaught Exception:

...immediately followed by (as though it's already happened)...

Does that help? Does the NOW TV team engage with this forum?

Looks like one for @Jason-C to pass up the chain to the tech team...

Hi, Did you manage to resolve this issue? I have just installed Now TV on my laptop and I am having the same issue.

I am getting the same issue with the player working on my laptop - Worked on Monday and now won't work on the laptop.
Error message reads.
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
It doesn't give me an option to fix it - I have uninstalled and reinstalled the programme and restarted it. I don't know what else to do to fix it but I am not impressed by this at all.
