Player going out of synch

Trying to watch the new Sex and the City show 'And Just Like That'. At 3:14 Miranda says: 'I'm getting a Masters in' but I still don't know WHAT SUBJECT because this is where the player skips half a line of dialogue and then proceeds to play OUT OF SYNCH.

 

I'm watching on a Mac. Your app is DIRE. I'm PAYING for this service: fix it.

This is a customer forum, only customers like you and me will see it. Only NOW staff monitor it seldom.

Past experience proves they take a very long time to fix problems, and sometimes they just don't fix them. I watched it with a friend who streamed it from elsewhere. And they wonder why bootleg streaming sites are so popular? 

 

I'll probably cancel nowTV. Their content is great but the operation is very clunky, with that separate player. Netflix works so much better; even Disney and Amazon stream fine straight from the browser.
