Now TV in HD on PC

Is there any sensible reason for Now TV not being available in HD on PC?

I bought Now TV membership in order to watch some series in my laptop. At no point I was told that the streaming service was different for PCs than for PS4s, smartphones or the other devices. I have used Netflix, Amazon Video, Hulu and secondary websites and at no point I had an issue watching something in an acceptable quality in what now is the year 2021. At this point in time I don't think there can be any reason for a purchased service to be in low quality by default. This is unacceptable and a scam.

As a guess NOW haven’t upgraded the player for HD by now is down to the wait for the Amazon App Store to be part of Windows 11.

 

 

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help
