Now TV Immediately Closes on Opening

Hi I've had this problem on my laptop for 10 months. I load up now tv it opens and the loading/buffering circle appears before closing immediately.

 

Support been useless on this and other solutions on here not worked. What can I do?

If you perform searches in the community for the player on windows you will see many threads showing issues. Some have been resolved and some have not.

Sorry can't be much more help as I don't use my laptop to watch NOW with. Have you tried to report the issue direct with NOW?

Would be good to get a response/fix for this, I too have been having this issue for 6 weeks+ tried every 'fix' in the book but to no avail.

Contact the 'help' support - they don't know what to do so they 'escalate' the case and say I'll get a response within 2-3 days... but guess what I get nothing.

The closest suggestion from the help team is they can see the player is getting 3-4 Mbps download which is why it 'buffers' and closes. However this smells like BS when I pull in 150-175 Mbps download speed and have 0 ping / packet loss issues on anything else / any online games.

I've found a solution, make a new user on windows, login to now and download now tv on new user and it worked. I'm guessing some process on my usual desktop has been blocking Now Tv
