Blue bars intermittently flashing

New to NowTV - I was bought Sky Sports Week Pass as a present. Registered ok and downloaded the App. Connected my Windows 7 laptop to Samsung Smart TV via HDMI cable. Bit frustrating that it took so long to setup, but got there in the end. Laptop is next to TV, not being touched. Streaming ok, but within the App two blue bars (volume control on top and channel select on bottom) intermittently flash in (about every ten seconds) and remain on screen for about three seconds before disappearing. Whilst not terminal, it's pretty distracting and definitely taking away from the viewing experience. Any ideas as to problem and solution? Thanks

still have the same issue, has no fix been organised yet? For an expensive service like Now TV i would expect problems to be solved with more urgency. It's spoiling my viewing experience and certainly does not give me much reason to use this service again
