In a world where Sky has the 2160p UHD Atmos Succession, and nobody else has Succession, Now figures that enough people will settle for the 1080p HD 5.1 Succession to make its offering worthwhile, and some will even settle for saving a few quid by watching the 720p Stereo version.
Now is predicated not to be the pound shop of streaming services, but to be just not quite so expensive that you will pass up the chance to watch Succession, and titles like it, first run, and yet still be cheap enough to represent a useful saving over full-fat Sky, and yet not so cheap and/or capable that it will cannibalise the audience of Sky subscribers.
That’s quite a tightrope to walk…..
Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
