What playback devices are you referring too ?
You can get up to 30 minutes Live Pause watching Now Sky Sports live on the NOW TV branded devices and Roku Players.

Maybe drop NOW an email using the email address in the screen shot below to ask the question if this feature can be added to Amazon devices in the future.
