No NOW TV app on Firestick?

I have a Firestick TV Basic Edition. However I cannot find the NOW TV app on it, even if I search for it. I can only find Access Now TV, which is a bootleg app and doesn't work anyways. Any ideas what's going on?

Now TV is no longer, there was a rebrand on Tuesday to "NOW".

Search for "NOW" on the firestick and you will find it.

Have you recently updated the fire stick?

As I know there was an update on either Monday or Tuesday.

Are you using a VPN either on the Fire Stick or Router by any chance ?

If so make sure everything is set to the UK or disable the VPN.

Only other thing you could try is a full factory reset on the Fire Stick.

Another thing you could check if you are not running any VPN is to see if this linked website tool below detects that your IP is based in the UK, just in case your Router is showing a rogue IP location outside the UK that might be causing you not finding the NOW App in your Fire Stick Basic Edition Apps store.

I am out of ideas to be honest, where i am guessing you purchased the Amazon Firestick Basic Edition in the UK ?

Maybe somebody who is a heavy Firestick user or has come across this problem and resolved it will come to your rescue.

Unfortunately I am not much help, I have a 4K Fire stick, which I know is updated to the new branding NOW.
