NOW app requesting firmware update

Installed on our Samsung tv the app isn't loading but requesting a firmware update.  I've manually updated the tv and there are no updates to install. NOW tv is still not loading.

Ive spoken to samsung an theyve said its a known issue they are working on a fix

Hey!

I just went into the App store on the Smart Monitor, a few days ago, and it
was finally listed (and even marked as downloaded) whereas a few hours
before, it wasn't there.

I didn't even have to update the Monitor software 🙂

Let me know how you get on.

Still having firmware issue on Samsung Smart TV.

I contacted NOW help for an online session. A couple of aborted attempts passed as the connection failed mid chat. However the issue was resolved on the 3rd chat when I was directed to reset the tv to factory settings. I had to set up/log in to apps etc which was a bore BUT after doing so the update to the TV was available when it hadn't been before. Hopefully this helps you. NOW working for me since.

I've got the same firmware issue with Now TV on my Samsung Smart Monitor. Monitor is being picked up tomorrow by their repair chaps and returned to me at the end of the day. If they fail to fix its going back to Samsung for refund.

It looks like this has been resolved on the LS27AM500NUXEN at least with the latest firmware update - the Now app has been removed, so it no longer errors!

Is there a way to add the app again once it has been removed and is that is gone for good?

It’s the Samsung Smart Monitor -
27" M50A Full HD Smart Monitor

The app was pre installed but after the firmware
Issue it has now been removed.

Keep checking to see if the device has an update to carry out.
