Hi

 

Just an update. We got Disney+ last night on the NowTV Roku Stick. But that happened after we went to system and checked that the update has been done. We refreshed the update and then it popped up when checking App Store.

Got a new nowtv stick 2 days ago.as argo advising it is available now.

And was very disappointed to find it was not on there.

So this is good news.

Checked mine but still not on there.so will keep checking.

Hi @Tree70 

 

Because you have a new stick with a newer serial number on it the Disney+  App rollout might be done in batches based on the box / stick serial number.

 

I would imagine it will be there within 24 to 48 hours if you only bought the stick recently.

App found and working yesterday but now won't load and says an update is needed from Sky 😓

  • Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
  • Also/Or on the nowtv home screen, go to          Settings-->System---> System Update to see if it will force any updates. 
  • A quick router reset.

I have the same problem as @Cookoospite

Downloaded the Disney plus app yesterday but when launching it says it needs a update from sky, checked for system updates and it says its upto date last updated march 7th

 

I am using the black now TV box 4201sk

 

Any help appreciated thanks

I am guessing you tried removing the Disney + App from your My Apps section, then carry out a fresh App install from your device Apps Store ?

 

Other than that try a forced up date in the hidden menu by following the instructions below (update the software even if you are on the same version number).

 

This updates your software, fixing any faults in the process.

  • Start by pressing your NOW TV remote control buttons in this order:

Home x5
Fast Forward x3
Rewind x2

  • Select the Update Software option that appears on the next screen.
  • Press OK, even if you already have the latest version.

II've tried removing and reinstalling that app with the same output. 

I havent tried the other, I didn't realise there was a hidden menu.

 

I'll try shortly and report back.
