Hi,
I've recently purchased a Now TV Broadband package through ComparetheMarket.com.
The offer at the time included a £50 John Lewis voucher.
I am unsure how to claim this voucher.
Please can you advise?
Many thanks,
Max
Despite filling in the forms reminding Now TV that I haven’t received my John Lewis gift card, they haven’t replied. One of the reasons I chose them was because of the gift card. Surely that should be in breach of contract??
Come on Now TV. Sort this out please
Im pleased to say that at long last, Ive finally received the £50 voucher which didn't cover all the time and trouble it took to obtain it when it should have automatically been sent.
What made it happen is to provide the info requested at the MSE at the link below and allow a few days:
https://help.moneysavingexpert.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000212847-Not-got-your-MSE-Blagged-broadband...
I am in the same boat, although the 3rd party company is wegift.io who should be handing out the voucher. Nowtv admitted they do have a business relationship with wegift.io but they don't control the issuing of vouchers.
After about 4 or 5 calls to complain i was told i would get my voucher by 18 december at the latest. needless to say i never got it and i have now cancelled my nowtv contract and moved to another ISP.
Nowtv initially tried to make me settle the "outstanding amount for the remainder of the contract" but agreed to waive it due to circumstances which is good of them to do without a fight.
However, like the non-existent voucher i will wait to see whether it actually happens.
I am now with another ISP that credits the "voucher" directly to your account and will never buy through wegift.io again.
Another disgruntled customer here, awaiting promised £50 John Lewis gift card from a broadband order made in October last year.
My complaint (#1075851939) stands with NowTV, however they appear to be claiming that the reward is the affliate provider's (wegift.io) responsibility.
My contract is with NowTV and, as a new customer (suckered into this deal), I find this an extremely disingenuous way for a company to behave regarding promotional offers.
Still waiting to hear back from the numerous emails sent to both parties.

Thanks

@Simon-J - Thanks Simon. As I'm sure you're aware, I've been chasing for the missing JL gift card for some time. Please let me know if you require any further information from me.
Hi Simon,
Thank you for getting in touch.
I've yet to receive the voucher.
Please let me know if you need anything else.
Many thanks,
Max
Hi Simon. I’m still waiting. Thanks for helping
Hi Simon,
You should also have apologised to the people who NowTV failed to automatically issue a voucher to at the promised time and who consequently had to waste their valuable time repeatedly making contact with NowTV who continually made promises to resolve the issue but failed to do so, until now. I will cancel my contract at the earliest opportunity and never resubscribe with either NowTV or Sky ever again.
Hi Simon,
I’m still waiting for my voucher over 4 months after taking out the contract.
I’ve sent numerous emails to suggested addresses which have each had no reply.
Please can you explain how I can be credited with this voucher?
Kind regards
Steven
Hi Simon,
I wanted to follow up on this.
I had an email from one of your colleagues on this, and subsequently replied (about 4 days later). I havn't heard anything back and this was probably 3 weeks ago now.
Please can you follow up on this?
Thanks,
Max
Hi @Simon-J
It has been over 60 days since I received an email confirming that I would receive details on how to use gift card. I have heard nothing since. Can you advise on next steps please?
Many thanks
hi @Simon-J
I'm also in the same boat - my broadband went live in Nov 2018, received the same email about my voucher but no follow up or response to messages from the customer care team linked in the email. Please can you look into this? Thanks.
Just thought I'd follow to say that I have finally received the John Lewis gift card via email this morning. Advice to anyone still waiting - persist with NowTV customer services. Thanks for sorting this out.
I think if you read the small print you have to wait a certain amount of time before the voucher is released (to ensure you pay your subscription etc)
Hi Tony,
It's been almost 4 months since I signed up for NowTV Broadband.
At the risk of sounding rude, it's also been 3 months since I first raised this topic and there still doesn't seem to be a resolution.
Please can you provide some genuine clarity here?
This is clearly a widespread issue given the activity on this thread but NowTV don't appear to be taking the easy steps needed to inform us how to claim a voucher that was part of a sign on bonus for one of their products.
I look foward to hearing from you.
Many thanks,
Max
Hello,
I did the same signed up directly around 20-something august, activated on 4 September.
No john lewis voucher and "customer service" are clueless and seem to know nothing about it.
Can i cancel my contract early for breach of contract?
I mean - it was clearly part of the offer - £50 john lewis vouchers.
Sadly i think the whole thing was actually a con.
Hi,
Same position. Signed up during John Lewis promotion with service up and running since beginning of September. No emails on the voucher or any sign of voucher. A friend received theirs within a few weeks of service starting.
Customer services gave me this email,
[email removed]
but given I’ve emailed twice this week with no response.......
I've been given a copy of the Nowtv offer page and terms and conditions from the comparison site I used so will be looking to take this further if nothing shows up.
yep same,
I have contacted Antony @ Awin as wegift are tricky to get hold off. I will let you know how I get on.
Just spoke with their live chat team and it was confirmed an ongoing issue they are aware about and they have escalated my case with regards to receieving the £50 John Lewis voucher.
