Before covid NOW were offering 12 month memberships. Although it’s all changed now.

At best you’ll get a monthly discount these days.

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

Looks like the Entertainment + Cinema + Boost ( 7days) @ "£9.98 a month for 4 months" is all we'll be offered, but I'm always optimistic for something extra on Black Friday itself ...

Entertainment + Cinema + Boost ( 7days) @ £9.98/month for 4 months - New customers only.

Best offer I have on offers page for existing customers with no active passes is Entertainment + Cinema for £5/month for one month.  Not much better than the £7/month I currently pay for both (until 19 Jan 2022).

You pay £4.99 upfront for 1 month of Entertainment and Cinema instead of the usual selling price of £9.99 a month for Entertainment and £9.99 a month for Cinema. Memberships auto renew at £9.99 a month for Entertainment and £9.99 a month for Cinema after 1 month unless cancelled. You can cancel anytime. Offer available to NOW My Account holders only. Offer not available to existing customers with an active Entertainment Membership or Cinema Membership

Didn't spot it was for New Customers only...

My current "Offers for you" are 2 months Entertainment @ £2.99pm, and 2 months Cinema @ £2.99.

Which is great value, just wish it was 4-6 months.

Yes, I have 2 months cinema @ £2.99/month (just commenced on 19 Nov) and 6 months entertainment @£3.99/month (starting 27 Nov, was previously 99p/month).  2 months of Cinema is enough at the moment given lack of new movies due to COVID and will probably cancel the latter once Curb Your Enthusiasm and Succession are over.

Hoping for a BOOST offer on offers page because £5/month isn’t worth it.

That offer has now expired and the new Black Friday deal is only 40% off. Must be the only company that has worse offers on Black Friday! Something seriously wrong with their marketing strategy hence why they are losing custom to competitors.

And again only for new customers ...

So I guess I'll take my 2 months of cinema, and 2 months of Entertainment, @ £2.99pm each, when combined with my current £2pm Boost, that will be £7.98pm, which is probably they best I've ever had, apart from the legendary £99 for 12 months.

Hopefully when I come to 'cancel' I will get the usual half-price offer, or maybe some 'offer' email ...?

The £20 per month for 2 months Sports Membership is also available on the NOW website by going to this link below and not going to the NOW dedicated offers page section on their website where it only shows the £25 per month for 3 months deal, if anybody hasn't got these two offers under their my Memberships "Exclusive Offers for You".

I would have taken up the 2 months for £20 per month offer, but my current sports deal has more than 30 days remaining where i could have saved myself £5 per month for the two months left on my current sports offer.

Not available in conjunction with any other NOW offer. Offer not available to existing customers with an active Cinema or active Entertainment Membership unless you are in the last 30 days of your offer.

Just had my Broadband and phone installed, I also pay for Entertainment package, do I have to buy Now stick separately to watch TV package?

Saint1976

@Johnnyboy Yes you'll have to provide your own device.

Now no longer produce or sell their own devices so the best option is an Amazon Firestick or Roku.

@Johnnyboy

While @Saint1976 is correct if you want or need a Stick, you may already have a suitable device or devices, perhaps even your TV.

Have a look at this list of supported devices:-

https://help.nowtv.com/article/what-devices-can-i-use-to-watch-now

Of course, you may have one or two devices on the list but that would be inconvenient to use for this. In which case, it’s back to the Roku/Amazon choice.

But if you have a device on the list that you want to use, but you can’t see the Now app on it, try downloading it from the content store offered by the device.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
If you take an offer that comes with a ‘free trial’ of Boost or another Membership, Cancel them straight away. You will still get the full duration of the trial, and if you decide you do want to continue with one or another of the trial products, just revisit the Cancel, and UnCancel it.

Republic of Ireland NOW customers can still buy the NOW Smart Stick from the NOW ROI website (don't know how long NOW ie will keep selling it on their ROI website).

Where the ROI NOW Stick version can only be used in the ROI with a NOW ROI account.

Agree with everybody else who has already mentioned it, if you haven't got a suitable supported playback NOW device, then look at the Amazon Fire Stick or Roku Player.
