Looks like they've now priced themselves out of a customer - I used to have the sports pass for £19.99.
So I've now cancelled - and the best part? To tempt me back, I can get an "offer" of 2 months at a steal of.... £33.99!
Apparently, this is a black friday deal as it's normally £67.98... a whopping 50% off.
So, anyone running out on your deal, beware of the fake offers in the account management page.
Solved! Go to Solution.
In the account management the offers aren’t fake of any sort. It is purely system generated. Your always best to get any discounts playing the “cancel” game.
£33.99 for two months is £16.995 per month.
That’s better than the deal you seem to have been satisfied with.
As @gavs82008 says, wait until you are in the second month, then play the Cancel/retention offer game,
Ok, I see that people think that the offer is somehow £33.99 for 2 months.
No - it's £33.99 PER MONTH for a whole 2 MONTHS! What a deal! Full price for 2 months!
And for the first reply - "In the account management the offers aren’t fake of any sort"
If the normal price is £33.99 per month, and they pretend that they are offering a deal of 50% off as they pretend its £67.98 per month, It. Is. Fake.
If you have proof that the normal price is £67.98 per month, I'd like to see it - and I expect sky would lose 90% of subscriptions for such a price. They can offer sports for £18.99 on a basic subscription, so let's all stop pretending that companies don't artificially inflate prices to pretend that they are offering a good deal in a special event.
