Sky Sports Offer Question

Hi,

I was sent an email yesterday offering me Sky Sports for £20 a month, for 3 months.

 

The email has a link at the bottom to 'claim your offer', and says it must be done before 23:59 on July 23rd.

 

When I click on the offer it asks me to sign into my account, which I do, and then nothing, just tries to load the 'my passes' page, but diverts to another page.

If I go to the sports pass page there is no offers available.

 

The email was addressed to me, so I don't think it's a new customers only thing, anyone else had this problem?

Welcome to the forum. Quite often with these offers there is a voucher  code hidden in the URL it sends you to, try checking the URL in the address bar (or copying the link in the email and pasting it into a notepad/word app) and it should look something like this

https://signup.nowtv.com/content/?returnUrl=voucherCode=XXXXXXXXXXXX&p[]=OFFER

Make a note of that voucher code XXX bit (usually it starts with NOW) and then try applying the code manually instead. Go to your My Account > My Passes page
https://account.nowtv.com/passes
and in the Sports Month Pass section, click the apply a voucher link and when prompted enter the code. If it's worked it will show your £20 offer price before you go ahead and confirm it.

If that doesn't help, or you're not sure what to do, try having a word with live chat instead and they should be able to get the offer sorted for you. You can get to live chat from the Contact Us page

Thanks for the reply, and the welcome.

 

I did what you said, and copied the code from the URL, when I entered it manually it came up with a red flag advising they are having trouble with vouchers right now, and to try again later...although this hasn't worked since yesterday afternoon, I'll see what happens, again thank you for your help.

@Anonymous User Sometimes when that particular message comes up then trying on a different browser and/or device (eg on a phone browser instead of a laptop browser or vice versa) will work. However rather than messing around trying again later etc which will only get more frustrating if it doesn't work, I'd definitely suggest a quick word with live chat - with a bit of luck they can get the offer applied for you.
