Now TV Season Pass ( Sky Football) 2020/2021

Does anyone know if NOW TV will sell annual passes for Sky Sports football  2020/2021 season or will there just be monthly and weekly options?

It’s only selected people through marketing who get the email so I think we should all just stop the comments and wait till the 9th and see what happens commenting on here ain’t gonna get u a email Apart from everyone moaning let’s just wait and see ain’t that long to wait !

@Anonymous User I was told I needed the VIP package for a free box! Time to get back on the phone!

@Saint1976 - Yeah they provide the box. At least they do for me. It's not free of cost though, I think it's a tenner or something.

This is looking more and more like a rudderless organisation spiraling out of control.  Perhaps we are witnessing the start of another corporate implosion like Tivo and Hoover.

The £25 per month deal works with Tesco Clubcard redemption, so can't complain at £8.33 per month in Clubcard vouchers.

I’ve been getting the season pass for the past two years and splitting the cost with a friend. If we did this this year, and cancelled in May, we would end up paying £112.50 each.

I think now the best deal is to split it with 2 friends now, and paying the extra £3 a month for Boost. This gives HD coverage, and the opportunity to watch on 3 devices at once.

So now it’s £28 per month, for nine months, split between 3 people, making it £84 each for the season.

This is £25 a month, and you can cancel at any time.

Seems to be loads on confusion on here. You are NOT locked in for 12 months.

The T&C simply state that if you do cancel, you won't be able to repurchase a Now Sky Sport Pass at the £25 a month offer price.

How do you do the Tesco thing?

Well after the fiasco on the last season pass when we lost out on several matches due to Nowtv/skys  inability to communicate, and seeing those prices, they can forget us.

@Kw-sk
You can do the usual 3-for-1 Tesco Clubcard deal, so 50p of vouchers equates to £1.50 of credit.  These credits are then added to your NowTV account and whilst your credit balance is sufficient to cover your monthly charge no payment is taken from your credit card.

Today I've turned £50 of vouchers into £150 of credit, so that will cover the next 6 months.

@Anonymous User I agree with the boost it is a great deal, but before you pay £3/month check this link

https://account.nowtv.com/passes/my-offers  If you use that you get 3 months of boost for the price of 2. So just £27/month.  Of course you can take the 7 day boost trial not that that will make much difference.

The boost is worth it just for the improved frame rate.  I had a week pass from PS plus on another account I needed to use this week before it expired.  Couldn’t add boost trial  as I used it elsewhere, but watching the games with lower frame rates was very underwhelming.

in my case the third stream is useful so my wife and daughter can watch movies and entertainment without having to log out and in again when I had passes on separate accounts.

@Saint1976 - Hopefully when our contract is due to expire (won't be for a while yet), the retention deals will be getting offered. While at the same time, NOWTV will be looking to shaft their customers by bumping the price again and still give poor customer service.

I’ve spent some time on Live chat being told various stories. £100 price hike. So time to leave Nowtv

Now I said I was leaving Nowtv, I got an email offering me 3 months at £20 a month. Too little, too late.

Hopefully I will now be sorted.....

I had a £19.99 offer for next month on my account, so that needed to be wiped - apparently the only way to do this is to cancel my current pass and let it expire - the £19.99 offer would expire at that point too.

I now have a code to enter for when the current pass runs out/offer expires, to be entered by the 5 October expiry date of the 12 month offer. 🤞

Let me get this straight, last year I paid £20 a month now they want £25 a month. Hey? And this is for a product with empty stadiums. They should be providing a discount cos the product ain't what it was. The clubs are refunding tv broadcasters https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52579299 proves it has lost value. Stop being a mug by paying this price. There's no guarantee the season will finish anyway, so you pay 6 months and it gets cancelled, you've paid for a null and void season. So many reasons why price should be lower not higher ...  What a waste of money and time.

That’s what I got told earlier  the offer runs out of the 5th and to use code given by then too

Hi JULERBOY

Can you confirm whether  tesco clubcard  vouchers work on the discounted pass or only full price passes. I've read Nowtv T&C s and it doesnt say either way.

Many thanks

I can confirm that the Tesco vouchers do work with the offer as long as you attach the voucher to your NowTV account first. It will then use the voucher value each month first before taking any payment from your registered card.

So just to clarify you can choose the discounted sports  pass to use with Tesco Clubcard vouchers?

Only  some people have mentioned in previous posts that they have only been allowed to pick full price passes.
