Does anyone know if NOW TV will sell annual passes for Sky Sports football 2020/2021 season or will there just be monthly and weekly options?
Solved! Go to Solution.
It’s only selected people through marketing who get the email so I think we should all just stop the comments and wait till the 9th and see what happens commenting on here ain’t gonna get u a email Apart from everyone moaning let’s just wait and see ain’t that long to wait !
@Saint1976 - did you get HD offered for free? I tried, but BT seem unable to touch anything on the sports package.
@Anonymous User no I didn't and they won't budge. Another 24 hours to see the 'amazing' deals live chat keep mentioning before I make my final decision.
@Saint1976 - Likewise. I went onto their community forums and asked why there is no ability to adjust the sports pricing. Apparently it's because they don't offer retention deals to new customers, and the BT TV packages are new, so effectively everyone will be considered a new customer. Doesn't make sense, but there you go.
Also, back on this topic. I chatted to 2 live chat agents earlier. The first told me the 16th, he disconnected the chat for some reason. The second was a bit more pleasant and said the 9th. Both threw out the "most likely", "possibly", "should" key words in those dates. I complained about being promised an email last week which didn't arrive, but may as well told a brick wall. The whole thing is ridiculous to be honest.
@Anonymous User they'd be daft to start on offer on the 16th - 4 days after the start of the season!!! Given that live chat spent weeks telling everyone that LG TV's were no longer being supported (a blatant lie) I don't believe a word they say any more!
LG tv's are only not supported for TV Boost.
The LG TVs that run Netcast rather than WebOS no longer support nowtv - perhaps that's what caused the live chat confusion?
I'm told on the Now TV Twitter feed that we will get emails within the next 24 hours!
I would expect an announcement tomorrow onwards as Premier league have meeting today to decide whether to televise all matches. Increased matches = higher cost 😞
that ties in with what live chat told me Sunday, he said there would be deals out soon but they were sorting out broadcast rights, thought he was talking &£*’fd!!
Link on my Facebook page (that doesn't take you to the offer) but £25 for 12 months.
@MB61 - I don’t think I will be taking it, if that’s the price they are intending to charge.
So exactly the same **** up as when the season restarted in June - nationally advertise an offer for £20 a month but delete it, make it email only and then a few days later make it £25 a month for everyone else. Doing that once is a mistake but doing it twice is farcical, unprofessional, amateurish and an insult to regular customers. To add further insult, they can't even get the advertised link to go to the offer! Just another one to add to the ever growing list of failures by NowTV in the last few months!
Poor from NOWTV. Very poor. More so because people were getting fed false information to wait, then they bring out this non-offer to the table. Not for me, I’m out.
@Anonymous User @MAF1 I clicked the link and it says 'online exclusive' and for new customers only. I also clicked through to see what happened and it allows me to purchase it (although I didn't). There's also a link that says "find out more" but that goes to the sport TV guide!!!!
There are NO terms and conditions on the offer which worries me as it says in the transaction basket "your card will be charged £25 a month for 12 months". From that, I assume that you can't cancel it during the 12 month period.
Again, farcical that they've posted an offer WITHOUT terms and conditions and links that go to the wrong page!!!!
I assume you weren’t logged in? It says oops something went wrong for me when I log in.
....the New customers only is just under the “get offer” button.
Correction, I found the terms and conditions UNDER all the adverts. You can cancel any time!
Just got this - make sure you are logged out. Go for the offer on the main page. At the side you can log in to an existing account and when logged in the offer is in the basket - just worked fine for me 🙂
Are people really lapping this up? For football fans, this is £300 when last year was less than £200. Come the last few months of your deal, you’ll be watching the Euros on free to air.
@Saint1976 - interesting, I posted the T&C and it was marked as spam. Wonder if some mod is "cleansing" the posts here.
Basically you can check the offer details in your "exclusive offers" section.
