Now TV Season Pass ( Sky Football) 2020/2021

Does anyone know if NOW TV will sell annual passes for Sky Sports football  2020/2021 season or will there just be monthly and weekly options?

It’s only selected people through marketing who get the email so I think we should all just stop the comments and wait till the 9th and see what happens commenting on here ain’t gonna get u a email Apart from everyone moaning let’s just wait and see ain’t that long to wait !

Just tried one last time to get details.  Was told that in the next day or 2 there will be a 6, 9 and 12 month pass. The prices will range between £16 and £25 a month.

I asked if these would be monthly fees or a one off payment and was told they will be  monthly, however there will also be a deal with a one off payment coming up at a later date but there were no further details on this.

They're so cryptic aren't they!

Surely you can't sign up for a 6/9 or 12 month deal, and pay it month to month? Surely the deal IS the long term period?

Oh well -fingers crossed it's out tomorrow. Put us all out of our impatience 🙂

At least they do these deals/discounted passed.

BT sports don't - and have way less games!

Yeah your right its a shame it’s quiet ripped off tbh bt sport I think it should be included with the sports channels. Or like you said have discount. I only have bt sport as wwe is not on sky anymore if it was then I wouldn’t be paying for bt sport.

There is discounts for BT Sport but you either need be a BT customer or a EE customer to get them. I'm a EE customer and get full BT Sport for £5 a month.

Yeah and you need to be a bT customer for the sports package on now tv which is £25!

Annoyingly, being on Sky broadband doesn't seem to hold any sway on the Now sky sports packages.

Oh well - bring on tomorrow!

Always used the £25 monthly passes along with deals when I cancel. I have found it more difficult and thought this was the start of the end, no where has them that I can find either so I reckon they have stopped.

Ok, so Praveen said

"The offers will start from 01/09/2020."

@Anonymous User I see no offers today.  I suspect the chat people know nothing. Just a bit of bluster.

Yeah disappointing.

I checked at 6am!

I think there's a two month £25 voucher but pretty useless really.

Not surprised there is no offer. Myself and at least one other person on this forum were VERY SPECIFICALLY told that the deal would be released on 9TH SEPTEMBER.

The other person posted the text they received in Chat and it was EXACTLY the same text that I received.

I guess they may advance it by a couple of days, but I am not expecting anything until 9th.

End of.

That was me. For some reason they removed it? They seem to be leaving it rather late this year. The season starts next weekend. Frustrating as I was hoping I could get the pass all sorted before the Nations League games.

There is this www.nowtv.com/boost-month and www.nowtv.com/month-boost but I haven’t been able to get it to work yet. I was told it started today, and terms say it ends on 8th. I read it as an upgrade so you have to have a pass to get it? but maybe it only works if you don’t have a pass already?

I have tried to activate it and I currently don't have any passes but it says the voucher's expired. What on earth? The terms state that it will work if there currently isn't a voucher.

Seeing as these deal pages aren't being advertised on the homepage (or anywhere else for that matter), I imagine they're just setting things up for some sort of flash sale.

Seems that they are starting to get things in place. I just get "There was an error when applying your voucher" at the moment.

£20 for 9 months isn't bad, although I would jump at £16 for 12 months.

16 for 12 months would do it for me as well.

The 3 screens on the boosted one is a nice option though. T+Cs for it still say 2 screens only - maybe just a typo but hope they fix it.

@JohnDorsetI think you went a little too certain in your last post.

Seems to all be dropping slowly now.

(9month deal for £20 on the link on the previous page)

Not available yet, and we'll see if there is a £16 for 12months version (£4 a month for 3month versus the 9month deal, albeit is it worth it in the 3months of summer closed season!), but looks to be imminent.

Just wondering, but what makes you (or anyone) think there will/might be a 12 month deal? That 9 month deal could be the season deal, and that’s it. If the season overruns, then too bad.

I’d throw my money at a 12 month deal for £16/month. So I hope you are right.

It’s not even a deal though £20 a Month  for 9 months I have a pass £20 for 3 months all I got to do is cancel before the date and I will prob get the same offer again £20 for 3 months so really it’s not really even a deal. Just another way around.

It guarantees without any doubt that you get 9months for £20 though.

You may not be able to keep your 3x£20 a month deal x3.

And also - the key point, £20 for 3months isn't offered to everyone.

What I'm more interested in, is the terms on that link seem to suggest you can still cancel at any time?

Have other years been an actual 1 off payment for (10 months in a usual season)

And to answer the why do we think a 12month is coming, it's because the now tv chat people said so.

I'll try them one last time, see what's what!

Latest reply not quite as positive!

We shall come with the seasonal offers once all the Live events are completely scheduled, currently due to current Co-vid situation we are unable to give any assurance of offers in prior.
