Just seen this news

And then factor in that you will probably miss some races (especially as you can not record it). It currently looks like I will be overseas for 4 races and I also struggle with some of the really early starts - so need to work out best mix of monthly, weekly, daily and C4 highlights for when in the UK. I can usually watch for free on Terestrial in France and Spain - and can usually pick up German or Austrian on satellite when in Greece. Commentary is a bit of a challenge, but you soon pick it up.
I have no interest in other channels, so the pass will need to less than £150 to make it attractive.
Also, I don’t understand why they dont make it a single channel pass (F1) - I wonder if there is a technical issue (we didn’t know we would want to do that when we designed it)?
you should also factor in that some of the races and exspecially qualifying are likely to be available for free to Now TV entertainment customers. Sky/Now TV have a history of screening live sports on Sky 1 (like the first day of the Ryder Cup, and Premier League matches), presumabably as tempters to purchase sports passes or a full Sky Sports subscription.
Good news guys. The Now Tv F1 pass will launch tomorrow (Tuesday 5th)
Well if you would like to elaborate!! Price/ sources??
The guy who wrote the Daily Express article about it tweeted me. It seems it was supposed to launch 2 March but they delayed it (maybe cos weekends is when people get round to doing things like ordering a Sky contract). Don’t know about price.
You can get in now I think, will this give me access to the F1 channels every weekend regardless of race weekend or not, it looks like they are showing indycar as well on this channel.

Does this include access to all the other sports channels?
Quick question (I’m new to Now TV). If you subscribe to the F1 Season Ticket do you have to watch all the races live, e.g. 05:10 UK time for Australian Grand Prix, or can you watch on catch up / on demand? Thanks.
Hi, @Anonymous User Since there is no catchup or on-demand for sports, you have to either watch live or see if there is a repeat showing at a time when you are able to watch (or record the highlights on Channel 4).
If you want to watch the practice sessions for the Austalian GP on Friday, practice 1 starts at 12:30 AM. Hardly worth going to bed on Thursday night.
Something else to bare in mind, I have set mine up yesterday and being a bit old school behind the times with technology I have had to order super fast fibre broadband as the stream with normal internet couldn't keep up. So just putting it out there, new router came this morning!! Will let you know results!
It’s funny I didn’t suffer with buffering last year when our village only had 7mb however i am only about a mile away from the repeater with 2 houses between. We have 40MB now so hoping it will be the same

The BBC iplayer runs at the same 720p resolution as Now TV, so if can stream Match of the Day without any buffering you should be fine.

Unlimted broadband is also all but essiential, streaming eats up your data allowance at an alarming rate.
As somebody mentioned, there is £5 cashback through Quidco as well.
I tried this morning to sign up for this deal but get a message saying it has expired but it the T&c it says it is available until April. What is going on with Now tv seems like a scam
I dont think its a scam but consider
buying
5x month passes £125
4x week passes £40.00
free GB on channel 4
total £165.00
gerry
That is an option but I like watching the free practice and qualifying and you don’t get the whole experience with the £10 pass. Can’t understand why the £195 deal is no longer on offer as the T&C say it is available until end of May. Been in contact with Now but still waiting for info
Yes you do with the passes you get all 11 sports channels. It’s just a bit of faff to get the passes and log them in sequence. Ive ordered mine from amazon free delivery.
Gerry the cheapskate lol

Qualifying for next weekends Australian GP will be broadcast live on Sky One, as well as Sky Sports F1 and Sky Sports Main Event. It can therefore be watched live by anyone with an active Now TV Entertainment pass, as well as those with Sky Sports passes.
A free 14 day trial of Now TV Entertainment is available via the link below, finger crossed the race will be available on Sky One as well.

It is now possible to watch the whole season, for £160, if you sign up for the 14 day entertainment pass trial, then purchase 4 x £25 Now TV Sky Sports Months passes and 6 x £10 Now TV Sky Sports Week passes from retailers like PC World, Argos, Wilko, WH Smith, then start the month passes on 29th of March (3 races), 10th of May (3 races), 30th of August (4 races) and 11th of October (3 races), and use the weekly passes to cover the other 6 grand Prix that are exclusively live on Sky Sports. You don't need a pass for the British Grand Prix, it will be live a Channel 4. That should cover qualifying and the races for all 21 GP's
I have got the entertainment pass and I have tried to get the F1 pass but I get the message that I might not qualify or the offer has expired. Just showing the normal offers at £33. I think the offer is a gimmick to get people to sign up for the full cost offers
